Research Report:Job Quality in Non-profit Organizations - Human Resources in the Non-profit Sector - No|2Canadians depend increasingly on non-profit organizations for a host of essential goods and services, especially in the wake of cuts in the public sector. Despite the economic and social significance of non-profits, little is known about the quality of jobs in the sector, nor about its ability to compete for skilled workers in future. This paper compares the non-profit and for-profit sectors in terms of a number of key job quality indicators.
