For the past four years, health care providers, system managers, policy-makers and researchers have gathered in Ottawa for what has become an annual event:  the Taming of the Queue Conference.  The conferences examine the progress that Canadian (and international) jurisdictions have made in dealing with the complex array of factors that contribute to create unacceptable wait times for medically necessary services.
