Research Report:Building Better Outcomes for Canada's ChildrenThis paper attempts to launch collaboration and discussion about responding to the needs of our children by presenting a set of positive child development outcomes. Drawing from the literature and from the results of a one-day outcome selection workshop hosted by CPRN in November 1998, this paper proposes a set of preliminary outcomes which cover the lifespan of a child from before birth to early childhood. It hopes to serve as a bridge between the formal exchange of information to advance further research in this area.
