Research Report:Balancing Paid Work and Caregiving Responsibilities: A Closer Look at Family Caregivers in CanadaDespite the trends in increasing eldercare responsibility, relatively little is known in Canada about those who both work and provide caregiving to an elderly relative. This gap in knowledge is addressed in the report, Balancing Paid Work and Caregiving Responsibilities: A Closer Look at Family Caregiving in Canada. The report describes the key issues and challenges facing employed Canadians, who also provide caregiving to a relative, and identifies the support that key stakeholders (e.g. family, organizations, and governments) could offer to assist caregivers.
