Connecting with Canadians

Research Report:

Exploring Canadian Values - A Synthesis Report

by Suzanne Peters

This book reports on a study of what Canadians hold dear, and how these values affect our ideas about social policy.  The study suggests that many of our values are unchanging, that we are deeply concerned about social programs and are searching for ways to redefine the principles that should shape them, and want to be directly involved in coming to a more considered public judgement on social policy.
