Last March, as part of the HR Council Feasibility Study, Community Foundations of Canada and United Way of Canada-Centraide Canada joined forces with CPRN to organize a workshop on skill requirements within the sector. They brought together researchers and sector leaders to provide the new HR Council with information and advice about first steps towards a sector skills strategy.

Towards a Skills Strategy for the Voluntary/Non-profit Sector, the workshop background paper by Richard Brisbois and Ron Saunders, Researcher and Director of CPRN's Work Network, focused the discussion.
